A Word From The Company Manager

Melinda Ackerman

Niño Early Learning Adventures

Tell us about your journey in early education, and your work at NIÑO

I’ve been part of the vibrant early years education sector for 30 plus years, having furthered my skill set courtesy of a Diploma and Bachelor of Teaching. Always passionate about this important educational sector, I’ve worked across many roles with my dedication and industry knowledge — having operated centres in Victoria, Tasmania and New South Wales.

This depth of experience enables me to drive Niño Early Learning Adventures to new peaks of excellence as we expand our services across Melbourne — having variously held roles as Lead Educator, Kindergarten Teacher, Centre Manager, Area Manager, Operations Manager and State Manager. Today, I am proud to be the Company Manager for Niño Early Learning Adventures and have been in the role for over 6 years.

What makes NIÑO Early Learning Adventures a leading operator?

Niño Early Learning Adventures benefit from a unique team of supportive Company Directors, who support me in my vision to develop Australia’s best early years education and care service.

There is no expense spared in the Niño offering, from premium building and playground construction to child-centric landscaping and intuitive kitchen design.

Each Niño site is specifically designed for a progressive childcare experience, with considered elements from site layout to learning and nourishment zones.

Our Niño children enjoy swift enrolment and great popularity in the communities we establish centres within. Niño Early Learning Adventures have engaged renowned nutritionist and Olympic gold medalist Lauren Burns as our Nutritional Ambassador, setting Niño apart with our healthy, freshly prepared and seasonally influenced menus for children. Niño inspire children with a variety of enhancement programs led by experts, such as yoga, cooking classes, baby music classes, physical education and languages other than English.
